Minimum age for purchasing alcohol - 18 years of age

(this means we can DRINK, but not BUY, so who the hell says we cannot. Just get some bloke to buy for you then drink la. Singaporeans all so narrow-minded)

Chewing Gum

The sale of chewing gum is banned in Singapore but its consumption is not.

(So the customs won't detain you unless you have bulk dumbass. Bulk = possible sale in singapore)

Driving

Minimum age for obtaining a driver's license - 18 years of age

(Can't get out of this one, but you can do your theory tests way way way before you're 18, so do it now and drive the moment you hit 18)

Drugs

Consumption of drugs is an offence and a heavy penalty awaits offenders.

( don't do drugs. seriously)

Education

Education up to Primary 6 is compulsory

(so you dont have to go to seconday school. its not compulsory. lots of ppl think it is)

Identity Card

Once a citizen of Singapore reaches the age of 15, he/she needs to register for an Identity Card

( yeah yeah yeah.....)

Marriage

A Special Marriage License is needed for people below the age of 18 who want to get married. For Muslim marriages, the minimum age is 16 and parents must be present if the male is below 21 years of age.

( so you dont have to reach 21, if you really love her, get a baby asap and explain to your parents on how you want to get married later on. Host a dinner and invite me.)

Movies

Legal minimum age for movies categorised as Restricted Artistic R(A) - 21 years.

(No one sees you at home =p)

National Service

All male Singapore citizens and permanent residents (PR) who reach the age of sixteen and a half years old are liable for National Service. They are required to serve two or two and a half years of full-time service and up to 40 days of National Service every year until the age of 50 (for senior officers) or 40 (for junior officers).

( go overseas before 16 and a half years old. Get a PR somewhere else, study while others are doing pushups. Come back to Singapore, get a citizenship and you've just skipped NS)

Nightclubs

Minimum age for entry into nightclubs - 18 years

(Minimum age for underage parties - go figure) (minimum age for sneaking in - go figure again)

Sex

Minimum age to engage in sexual intercourse - 16 years

( so whats stopping you, they sell condoms to ppl at that age. why start living later on. Some ppl still think singaporeans can only engage in sexual activities after 18 or 21. Intercourse is at 16 years, but they didn't mention anything about foreplay and petting only at 16 yes? and yes you CAN talk about sex before 16 or 28 or 21 =.=")

Smoking

Legal minimum age for the purchase of cigarettes or to smoke in a public place - 18 years of age
